I believe that you have a strong desire to grow and succeed within you, no matter how buried or blocked. You don't need people to tell you what to do, but maybe a space to slow down, make sense of things, and talk through next steps. My style is warm and collaborative. Our work together might be more conversational, or it might be more structured and skill based, depending on your goals. I often draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify where you may be getting bogged down by anxious or negative thoughts, and come up with specific strategies for making progress towards your goals.

I am a licensed psychologist practicing in the state of Massachusetts I completed a bachelor’s degree at Wesleyan University, and a PhD at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Before opening my practice, I took calls at a crisis hotline in New York City. I went on to work at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and then worked at several university counseling centers, including UMass Amherst. I have led men’s groups, LGBTQ+ support groups, and ADHD support groups.

I see clients in person at my office in Amherst, MA and offer video sessions throughout Massachusetts. People of all sexualities, gender identities, races, and sizes are welcome in my practice.
